Musings of a pair of travel mice

It has been a long while not teaching English
Here comes the chance (although i asked this on my own)
I made my mind to teach in HESS again
Could i say this is my dream to come true????
Maybe i should think these words for a long time.


Last Fri. night,
i had a chance to see Peter's class
that was a crazy one and also made me worry about whether i have enough energy or not
Then my class starts on this Thu.
I met some parents and some of my students
(i said some here because there are 5 absent on the first class)
i didn't teach on that day
Barrie did
it's really hard to teach kids who are so young
they could only recognize some letters
We taught them "What is this? This is a/an _____ " for 110 minutes
they still couldn't say the words correctly this teching method is called "whole language"
i doubt whether it's a good way for kids who even didn't know how to write most of the Chinese words to learn another language
i understood whatever it's a hard work for me
i need to build their learning system and i have no related experience before
well.....
althogh i haven't handed in the contract
the class has started
i have the responsible to do what i should do
Gods bless me for this level
i believe there will be lots of communication between parents and me


Oh.
one more thing i need to write dowm
i sub for Peter's D class this morning
level 15
it should be no problem for me
However, the fact is i don't teach or speak English for half of the year
I sometimes stammer in the presence of students
especially they are older kids
that's a big shock for me
I only feel "WOW" when the situaiton happened


Anyway,
i should feel happy to teach English again
i really desired this in the past months,
most important of all
after i went back (only 3 days)
i had 4 classes to sub for because there is a lack of teachers
well
i will have a busy life in this two weeks


i doubt whther this is originally my dream ?
